The Dolls Museum is situated at a distance of about 4 km from the city center. The museum is built in 1974 with the exclusive purpose of providing an insight into the different cultures across the world. The
various attires that can be seen in this museum include attires of Gujarat, Bengal, Assam, Kashmir, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and several other states. Amongst the most striking one’s are the bridal
dresses of Mysore, Kerala, Gujarat, Bengal and Punjab and the dresses of classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam, Kathakali,
Odissi and Kuchipudi.
You can also see the national dresses of USA, Britain, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Ghana, Uganda, Lebanon and Afghanistan. The dolls wearing bridal dresses of Japan, Malaysia, Burma, China, and New
